ShowBiz Kidz/ShowBiz Starz will offer up "A Pocketful of Rhymes" at 7:30 p.m. today, tomorrow and next Friday and at 2 p.m. Aug. 9 at the Royal Majestic Theater inside Trillium Academy, 15740 Racho Road, Taylor.

The show is a musical review of favorite Mother Goose nursery rhymes directed by Carol-Ann Black.

The adult performance ensemble of the Cabrini Monarch Theatre Troupe will present "Broadway's Best: A Musical Review" at 8 p.m. today and tomorrow and 3 p.m. Sunday at the Cabrini Center, 15305 Wick, Allen Park.
The show will feature musical stylings from David Waggoner and Friends and others.

The Southgate Community Players' "Playhouse Summer Series" continues with "Seussical Jr." next Friday and Aug. 9 at Davidson Middle School, 15800 Trenton Road.
Based on the books of Dr. Seuss, the musical is a mixture of many of his favorite books and characters, including The Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant and the Whos.
Show times are 7 p.m. next Friday and 2 and 7 p.m. Aug. 9. Tickets are $8.
The tale of four Catholic girls coming of age in 1960s New York comes to the stage in "Catholic School Girls" at 8 p.m. Sept. 12, 13, 19 and 20 at the Corner Playhouse. Tickets are $12.
Rounding out the season is "Who Am I This Time?" a one-act play about a hardware salesman who only comes alive when he plays a character in local theater productions.

Creative Characters in conjunction with the Allen Park Parks and Recreation Department will host "CafÈ Murder," a comedic murder mystery dinner theater, Aug. 21 to 23 at the Allen Park Recreation Center, 15800 White Street.
Audience participation is requested to figure out who in the restaurant has the strongest motive and opportunity as the murder mystery plays out.
Show times are 7 p.m. Aug. 21 and 22 and 4:30 and 7 p.m. Aug. 23.
Tickets are $10 a person and include a dinner of salad, bread, pasta, dessert and beverages.
