A modern Motown flavor will be part of the United Way's annual Thanksgiving Day Halftime Show this year at Ford Field.

The Nov. 26 festivities during the Detroit Lions-Green Bay Packers game will feature "A Motown 50th Anniversary Tribute," with artists from the Detroit-founded label's current roster singing Motown hits from the past. Among the performers will be Detroit R&B hitmaker KEM, singers Melanie Fiona and Shontelle, rock group Forever the Sickest Kids and newcomers Vita Chambers and Hal Linton. Another current Motown artist, Jadyn Maria, will perform the national anthem.

Fans will be able to download a recording of the medley online at www.nfl.com/thanksgiving, with proceeds going to benefit the United Way.

The NFL-United Way collaboration goes back 36 years, the longest-running charity partnership of its kind. This year's game marks the 11th time the United Way has participated in the Thanksgiving Day halftime show.

Kickoff for the Lions-Packers game will be at 12:30 p.m. Fox will broadcast the game nationally. Tickets are still available.
