Icona Pop may declare in song that "I don't care!," but rest assured the Swedish electro-pop duo is loving the success it's having at the moment.

Icona Pop hit big earlier this year with the defiant "I Love It," a Top 10 hit, double-platinum hit in the U.S. that's been followed by the euphoric "All Night" -- both of which have stoked anticipation for the group's second album, "This Is...," which arrives Sept. 20.

"We couldn't be happier," says Caroline Hjelt, who started working with Aino Jawo during 2009 after the two met at a party in Stockholm. "It's just insane. We're so excited.

"This year, it's been crazy and we have our first headlining tour coming up right now in the U.S. and then we have the album coming out that we've been working on for such a lot time. So it all feels a little bit surreal."

Hjelt, 25, says she and Jawo are particularly looking forward to having "This Is..." come out so that fans, and particularly those in the U.S., can "get to know us a little better."

"I think people will see some new sides of Icona Pop," Hjelt says. "It's basically the journey we've been through. "I Love It" and "Ready For the Weekend" have been out before, but we felt like it's important for those to be on there because those are important to who we are. And then it's new songs that show where we are now and the journey that's in-between, everything that we've been through when we've been traveling.

"It's a little bit like our diary. I think people will be surprised by some of the songs. -- Gary Graff
