This week's new and noteworthy music releases...

A Tribe Called Quest, "We got it from Here...Thank You 4 Your service" (SME/Epic): The rap group's sixth album, and first in 18 years, includes contributions from the late Phife Dawg -- who died in March and also gave the album its title -- and guest appearances by Kendrick Lamar, Elton John, Kanye West, Jack White and more.

DNCE, "DNCE" (Republic): The debut album from Joe Jonas' dance-pop troupe features three songs from last year's "Swaay" EP along with 11 others.

Miranda Lambert, "The Weight Of These Wings" (RCA Nashville): The country singer's sixth studio album spreads 24 songs over two discs and, yes, she has somethin', or some things, to say about ex-husband Blake Shelton.

Bruno Mars, "24K Magic" (Atlantic): The Super Bowl halftime go-to's third album is compact at nine songs and less than 34 minutes, but as is Mars' nature he seems to make every second exciting.

Metallica, "Hardwired...To Self-Destruct" (Blackened): The thrash kings are back after an eight-year recording absence and make up for lost time with a dozen mostly long tracks spread over two discs.

R.E.M., "Out of Time: 25th Anniversary Edition" (Concord): A classic is made even better with the addition of demos, rarities and live tracks in this expanded package.

Sixx: A.M., "Prayers For The Blessed" (Eleven Seven): The Nikki Sixx-led trio follows April's "Prayers For The Damned" with a sequel which, despite it's sunnier title, still features plenty of angsty sturm and drang.

Umphrey's McGee, "Zonkey" (Nothing Too Fancy): The jam band scene faves have too much fun mashing together a wide array of rock, pop, reggae, R&B and hip-hop favorites into new, medley-style tracks that are just a riot to listen to.

Also Out: American Mars, Exposure (gangplank); Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, "The Bastard Sons" (Motorhead); Rory Block, "Keepin' Outta Trouble" (Stony Plain); Celtic Woman, "Voice Of Angels" (Celtic Woman/Emerald); Diabalas In Musical, "Dirge For The Archons" (Napalm); Disturbed, "Live At Red Rocks" (Reprise); e-40, "The D-Boy Diary: Book 1" (Heavy On Grind); Freedom Call, "Master of Light" (Steamhammer/SPV); Highly Suspect, "The Boy That Died Wolf" (300); Justice, "Woman" (Because Music); Robert Earl Keen, "Live Dinner Reunion" (Dualtone); Lamb Of God, "The Duke EP" (Epic); The Outlaws, "Legacy Live" (Steamhammer/SPV); Pink Martini, "Je Dis Oui!"
