Motown 60 gospel concert tickets to be distributed Wednesday

he gospel portion of next month's Motown 60 Weekend will be free.

Tickets will start being distributed from 11-5 on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at the Motown Museum, 2648 W. Grand Blvd., for the Motown Gospel Concert, taking place at 6 p.m. Sept. 21 at Detroit World Outreach. Performers at the show include Regina Belle, Tye Tribbett, Tasha Paige-Lockhart, Pastor Deitrick Haddon, Kierra "KiKi" Sheard and the Detroit Mass Choir.

The gospel show is the first event of a weekend that also includes a Motown Honors concert -- featuring the Temptations, the Four Tops, Mary Wilson of the Supremes, Martha Reeves, Big Sean, KEM and Ne-Yo -- on Sept. 22 at Orchestra Hall, and a Soul In One Celebrity Golf Classic outing on Sept. 23. Those events are currently on sale.
