Checking out this week's new music releases (all subject to change).
Album of the Week: Sole surviving Bee Gee Barry Gibb is more than stayin' alive on his new solo effort "Greenfields: The Gibb Brothers Songbook, Vol. 1" (Capitol) as he recasts some of the group's favorites with an all-star, mostly Nashville guest list that includes Dolly Parton, Olivia Newton-John, Keith Urban, Sheryl Crow, Brandi Carlile, Miranda Lambert and many more.
Album Title of the Week: Passenger, "Songs for the Drunk and Broken Hearted" (Nettwerk)
Did Ya Know?: For "Miss Anthropocene Rave Edition" (4AD), Canadian genre-blender Grimes turns the songs from her 2020 album "Miss Anthropocene" over to the likes of Richie Hawtin, REZZ, Channel Tres, ANNA and others for some ambitious remixing.
