Black Keys, "Delta Kream" (Nonesuch): The duo dives back into its Mississippi hill country blues roots on this set covering Junior Kimbrough, R.L. Burnside, John Lee Hooker and others.

J. Cole, "The Off-Season" (Dreamville/Roc Nation/Interscope): The North Carolina rapper's sixth studio full-length ends a three year wait, with another album, "The Fall Off," looming on the horizon.

Alan Jackson, "Where Have You Gone" (Universal Music Nashville: The country veteran makes up for lost time on his first album in six years, packing it with a generous 21 songs -- 15 of which Jackson wrote himself.

Myles Kennedy, "The Ides of March" (Napalm): The Alter Bridge/Slash frontman's second solo album is more electric than 2018's "Year of the Tiger," letting Kennedy push his own lead guitar chops to the forefront.

St. Vincent, "Daddy's Home" (Loma Vista): Annie Vincent's sixth studio album finds here working again with Jack Antonoff (Bleachers, Taylor Swift), candy coating its 14 tracks with an array of polished danceable pop grooves.

Long Time Comin': Del Amitri's new "Fatal Mistakes" (Cooking Vinyl) is the Scottish alt.rock troupe’s first studio set since 2002.

Blast From the Past: Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young's "Deja Vu: 50th Anniversary Edition" (Rhino) may be a year late but is loaded with demos, alternative versions and unreleased tracks to help, er, "Carry On" the legacy.

Homegrown Heroes: MC Roads, the new band led by former Sponge guitarist Mike Cross, has released its first single, "Call It What You Want." Its debut album, "No Nostalgia," comes out during September.
