Crowded House, "Dreamers Are Waiting" (BMG): The New Zealand group's first new album in 11 years features a fresh lineup fortified by frontman Neil Finn's two sons.

Billy Gibbons, "Hardware" (Concord): The guitarist steps out of ZZ Top for a third time, recording in the Joshua Tree desert with Matt Sorum (Guns N' Roses, The Cult).

Rostam, "Changephobia" (Maatsor Projects/Secretly Distribution): The second solo album from Vampire Weekend's Rostam Batmanglij taps deeper into his jazz influences.

Long Time Comin': Liz Phair's "Soberish" (Chrysalis) is the alt.rock heroine's first new album in 11 years.

Blast From the Past: The Alarm looks back on "History Repeating 1981-2021" (Twenty First Century), a 40-song anthology that includes a fresh recording of the title track.

Local Hero: Gary Spaniola, artist, producer and onetime member of the band Bitter Sweet Alley has released a new album "In Wonderland," via his web site GarySpaniola.com. Proceeds from sales of the 10-song set benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
